Tamarindo Lifestyle

Farmers market, food trucks, boutiques, spas, restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife — we love our peaceful place that’s still connected to the action!

Oh, and we love our infinite supply of world-famous waves and sunsets.

Yep, that’s the average WATER temperature year-round. With endless waves and water sports, no wetsuits required!

Costa Rican coffee has always been world famous, but these local guys are taking it to another level. Of course, if you just want a basic “cup of joe” we have the best anywhere.

This close to the equator the sunset and sunrise don’t shift much. There are about 12 hours of daylight every day. Days end around 5:30pm with an amazing sunset, and most residents make a point to watch as many of them as possible.

With virtually every cuisine available and casual to elegant styles, Tamarindo has some of the most global dining experiences in all of Costa Rica. If you want to go local, there’s plenty of Gallo Pinto, too!

Tama’s “Feria” is on Saturdays from 8am-1pm and features local produce and meats from nearby farms, fresh fish and artisan products from locals and expats.
